Measurement guide
Door Opening Measurement (Pleated Door Screen)
🔢Steps
- Measure the width at the top of the doorway (W1) and write it down.
- Measure the width at the bottom of the door opening (W2) and write it down.
- Measure the height (H) from the top to the bottom of the opening.
- Always use a metal tape measure for accuracy.
💡Measure at three points (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest measurement. Check that the surface is level.
Plisse Door Between Walls Measurement
Measure the width

Measure the height

🔢Steps
- Measure the width of the opening of your door and add at least 60 mm to this measurement.* This becomes your width measurement. (* For the 'on the day' profile, at least 30 mm of frame space is needed on the left and right side)
- Measure the height from the floor to where the opening of the door opening ends and add 70 mm to this measurement.** This becomes your height measurement.
- Note! Do you have a sloping door threshold? When ordering, specify that you want a screen door with a sloping door threshold.
- (When choosing a three-sided 'on the day' frame, stick the strip to the ground. If you choose an 'on the day' frame all around, you will also get a frame part at the bottom, for which at least 20 mm mounting space is needed.
- Make sure you have 70 mm mounting space above the door opening! Do you have less space? Then instead of 70 mm, add the space you do have (at least 30 mm needed). Part of the top guide will then be visible in the door opening.)
💡Always measure from the inside of the frame. For sloping thresholds, specify this when ordering.
Double Door Opening Measurement (Double Pleated Door Screen)
🔢Steps
- Measure the total width (W) of the double doorway, including the frame.
- Measure the height (H) of the opening.
- Refer to the technical drawing for the correct measurement points.
💡Measure each side separately if the opening is not perfectly symmetrical.
Window Measurement (Insert Screen)
🔢Steps
- Measure the width (W) of the glass section, including the rubber.
- Measure the height (H) of the glass section, including the rubber.
- Write down both measurements in millimeters.
💡Measure at three points and use the smallest measurement. Check that the window is straight.
Recess Measurement (Pleated Curtain)
🔢Steps
- Place the tape measure at the bottom of the recess and measure the width.
- Repeat this at the top and in the middle for verification.
- Measure the height from top to bottom.
- Write down the smallest width and height.
💡Measure at multiple points. For installation during the day: subtract 1 cm from the width for clearance.
Frame Depth Measurement (T)
🔢Steps
- Measure the depth (T) of the frame or recess with a tape measure.
- Write down this measurement in millimeters.
